You should clean the air lock and replace it to avoid contamination of your wine.
Try this trick often used by beer makers. Remove your air lock from the stopper and force a short peice of siphon hose into the stopper hole. Put the end of the hose into a wine bottle with about 2 inches of sulphited or chlorinated water. This will result in a modified air lock that will collect the overflow. When the fermentation slows down you can replace your regular air lock.
