Hi there.I have been making beer and wine for quite a while with great success specialy banana wine mmmmm yummy. However major disaster has struck.I have just made gooseberry wine which had to be fermented for 5 days on the fruit before straining into a demijohn. I have done this but on doing so i noticed a very bad smell. To say the least it smells like the bottom of a pond and on rinsing some around my pallette noticed that it tastes as bad as it smells.I was going to throw it out but a friend said he had been told once that theres nearly always something that can be done. If i don't die from the sample i tasted i would appreciate some help LOL...sorry hope you can read this i can't spell :o)
