I'm currently in the process of brewing my first batch of wine. In 6 days the SG dropped from 1.079 to 0.996. The instructions in the wine kit indicated that the primary fermentation would take 7 to 10 days. Primary fermentation would be over at SG 1.020. Its been kept at a constant temperature of 65. Is this a normal rate for primary fermentation? Is it going to fast? Is the wine still good? etc
