I have found the the 180 degrees of a dishwasher works the best in removing labels. I soak the bottles in hot water, remove the paper and the dishwasher removes the glue. You can use alittle dishwashing detergent but if you do that you must run it through the cycle at least once more without to make sure no detergent residue is left behind. The bottle always comes out clean and is also sterlized.
