It is possilbe that your wine is a bit too young. Give it about 5 or 6 months ageing.
Excess carbon dioxide gas can give wine an upleasant aroma and taste which some winemakers describe as "yeasty". You should pay special attention to degassing your wine. Vaccuum pumps are excellent for degassing. Some wine shops may have them to rent.
