Yeasty smelling wine

Greetings,

I'm just starting out in this whole home winemaking thing
so please bear with me.

So far I've made 2 different wines (a blush and a red) and
have been pleased with the outcome except that they both
seem to have a fairly strong yeasty smell. They both taste
good though. Did I do something? Is there anything that I can do now?
What, if anything,can I do in the future to prevent this from happening
again?

Any comments or suggestions anyone may have would be greatly
appreciated. I would also appreciate it if you would e-mail
them to me if you could as I don't often have the time to come back
and check the bulletin board.
