I just had my first preliminary taste of a pale ale I made with Wyeast 1056 (American Ale).

I was very very impressed!! I usually use a Munton's Canadian Ale kit, another 2 pounds of DME, 1 oz of Cascade for
aroma and dry hopping (1/2 & 1/2) And a Cooper's dry yeast. All I did different this time was use the liquid yeast, but what a
difference!!

The slight harsh bite was not there as it was with dry yeast. It's a beautiful smooth flavour. Mmmmm..... can't wait 'til it's bottled.
