This recipe produces a "vin ordinaire". It is economical
and is intended for everyday drinking. This wine is usually
drinkable within weeks of fermentation.
Recipe for 1 Imperial gallon.
6 cups of canned apple juice.
4 cups of sugar
1/2 tsp citric acid.
1 tsp pectic enzyme.
1 tsp yeast nutrient
1/2 tsp yeast energizer
1 pkg Lalvin EC-1118 wine yeast.
water to make up 1 gallon.
