What is turbo yeast?
Yeast is a single cell organism which multiplies vigorously in the presence of oxygen and then after all of the oxygen is used up, yeast will convert sugar into alcohol. And fermentation? It is of course simply the process by which yeast converts sugar into alcohol and carbon dioxide.
Most yeast will give up multiplying after a certain level of alcohol is present—usually around 14%. Turbo yeast is a special strain of yeast that can tolerate high levels of alcohol sometimes up to 24%. A turbo yeast packet also contains a blend of nutrients that helps the yeast to reach this higher alcohol level.

Whiskey distilers yeast
